Tough times never last, but tough people do!

THEY hit really hard,
Those dominantly high fears,
Those cobwebs of unmerciful problems,
Those knots of life’s struggles,
Those gloomy sights of failure,
Don’t they?

We all give up too soon when life tricks us in its own cunning ways. Life’s artifices make us feel low of ourselves, that we are incapable unlike those strong people who have crossed huge hurdles in their life.

Which leads us to wonder like him. Doesn’t it?

“Who can even dare to challenge those
Formidable mountains,
Boastful forests,
Bottomless seas,
Pitch-dark morning skies”

Uttered he.

“Men are not afraid of things, but of how they view them.”
― Epictetus

Placid curve appeared on her lips.
Obliged she said,

“Across those mighty mountains,
Through those thick forests,
Athwart those deep and gigantic seas,
Loftier than that outsized sky,
Beyond that dreadfully frightened YOU,
your priceless treasure trove.”

Wondered he,”What could it hold for me!”

“Something that no greenery, no reign, and no power can offer you”, whispered she, and left for her place.

Dumbfounded he, rambled out of the room too, only to decipher the masked answer, few years down the line.

“High esteem,
Astounding glory,
Upswept respect,
Lionhearted me
– was what she meant”. 🙂

“To escape fear, you have to go through it, not around.”
― Richie Norton

  1. Nice poem. I agree with the overall premise. Men fear what they dont understand. Im no different. I find that I dont really have fear, if anything Ill just get nervous. When I do feel “fear”, I try to understand where it’s coming from, and how to conquer it. I know, it sounds like fairytales, but its

  2. this’s quite inspirational now, but more interestingly, it’s seemed like a great stimuli of prose. you stir down your poetry skills here around with blogging talent very well that further makes ur whole post worth-reading.

yes, i agree, when we’re just ’bout to reach goals, we quit a few steps before we cross the edge of success. and that’s the reason, most of us are still so… fruitless at achieving… chasing or better following the trails of our incomplete dreams. i sorta like the message of “not giving up” here. nice post. you sound like an inspirational or a majestically decorated spiritual chicklit. that’s fascinating. i love such stimulus gals so stuffed, & drilled, & well drooled up with inspiration of optimism.

there’s so much negativity here around the world… so it’s quite ev’n very hard to stay so positive, & esp. the sane soul, perhaps, you sound more relaxed. contended. & generous.. which i find very admirable in you. keep it up. stay sexy. b-blessed. & keep writing, sweetheart.

    1. Thank you so much.😊
It feels good to get such an elaborated feedback.
I try at my level to stay positive. Rest I write what I believe in.😃
There are quite such posts too which are quite harsh, but I wrote them as I believe the facts in them are true.☺
But yes, thank you again for reading this.😊

      1. agree with that. me too learned with time that… as long as you’re even so true to yourself, whether in a good or bad ways, your lovers/readers gonna HAVE TO love/read you in time, no matter what rest of the others may puke at ur stuffs. and that’s the thing is what takes much time to be learned. you’ve something ’bout u that helps u being real… in this so “dual-faced” world. i kinda admire ur genuineness. would be looking forward to readin’ you, & now ur so-called “Harsh” stuffs. xoxo

                1. Well I believe every person is sent as an angel with his halo.😃
But then we humans, decide for ourselves whether we want to keep our halo with us, or want to transit to some other form.

So yes, I decided to keep my halo with myself!😁
