Sometimes, a comfortable,
mature seeming companionship
isn’t mature at all,
But a relation dying a secluded,
slow death.
Not everything that shines is gold. Similarly, not everything that seems comfortable is, sometimes, comfortable at all. What do you think about it, folks?

I think what we understand as comfortable, maybe it is the beginning of the withdrawal or denial conveyed silently by the companion. Reading between lines is the key in every relationship and conveying the feeling is lacking every time.

True. If the rush or urge to talk to one’s loved one, which used to be there in the initial phase of relation, goes missing, we term it as a mature relationship; which, if asked, is true as well. But in a lot of relationships, such is the beginning of an end; sometimes they realize it and sometimes they don’t.
This is not as simple as it sounds. Intricacies are deep. Answers are numerous.
Thanks for sharing your views, Vishal! 🙂

Yeah I do agree with you that relationships and expectations in them are complicated and vary from individual to individual. Have a great day and you are most welcome.

Agree with that. There’s silence in the eye of the hurricane. 😊

O wow, Puneet. You gave me an apt title for these lines of mine – An inside-out Hurricane –
I’m updating my title to this one. After all, these relations look calm from outside and have their tumultuous effect inside. Thank you! 😀 🙂
